Mr. Billy J. Coleman, age 76, of Whiteville, NC gained Heavenly Wings on Monday, January 9, 2023 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center, Whiteville, NC.

Viewing will be Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Zion Plain Missionary Baptist Church, 11040 Seven Creeks Hwy, Nakina, NC 28455. Burial will follow in the George Washington Stanley Cemetery, Ramsey Ford Rd, Nakina, NC. 

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, daughters: Jacqueline Floyd, April Blue, and Heather Coleman, sons; Billy T. Coleman, and Arthur L. Stanley, brothers: Bobby Smith, Glendale York, Michael Coleman, Keith Coleman, Steve Coleman, Lloyd Coleman, and Lloyd Crawford; sisters: Oletha York, and Lou Vonia Brown.
