Mrs. Brenda LaShawn Johnson, age 39 of Nichols, S.C. passed on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, S.C.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Mission Baptist Church Green Sea, S.C. Burial will follow in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to and following the service.

She is survived by her husband; Lamont Johnson and eight children; Romello Nesmith, Judy Johnson, Sheambria Washington all of Green Sea, S.C. Riheem Kirby of Conway, S.C., Dayqwan Brantley of Loris, S.C., Breana Scott of Tabor City, N.C., Kaya Wheats of Columbia, S.C., and Aaliyah Johnson.
