Loretta B Nunez

Ms. Loretta B. Nunez, of Nakina, NC, was born March 31, 1973, at Loris Hospital and entered eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

She was the daughter of Mary Boswell Simmons and Rocky Allen Brown and the stepdaughter of Bruce J Simmons of Horry County.

A graveside service will be on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery, 111 Jarvis St, Tabor City, NC 28463.

She is survived by her mother, Mary B. Simmons, and stepfather Bruce J. Simmons, two children, Gabriela M Nunez and Austin Nunez, one sister, Victoria B Lagunas (Antonia Lagunas), one nephew, Nico Lagunas and family of Tabor City, NC, a host of cousins and family, including a few special cousins, Pam Jackson (that she saw as a sister), Linda Phillip, and Brenda Soles, and a special aunt, Ida Campbell G. Lane and family (that would make her biscuits when she was younger).
