Sue Ellen Chandler

Mrs. Sue Ellen Chandler, age 60 of Carolina Shores, N.C. passed on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C.

She was born in Whiteville, N.C. on November 1, 1956 and was the youngest daughter of the late Thomas Jackson “Jack” and Clara Worrell Chandler.

She is survived by her brothers; Tommy Chandler and Marilyn Thomas of Whiteville, N.C., J. Michael and wife Wanda Chandler of Lake Waccamaw. Sister; Karen C. and husband Wylie Terry of Little River, S.C., and nephew Terry and wife Melissa Chandler of Whiteville, N.C. Four nieces; Amanda T. and husband Chuck Herdel of Charleston, S.C., Ashleigh T. and husband Hunter Brown of Wilmington, N.C., Georgianna C. and husband Ree Karriker of China Grove, Meredith C. and husband Coleman “CJ” Parker of Whiteville, N.C. and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will be accepting friends at White Marsh Baptist Church, Saturday March 4, 2017 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to White Marsh Baptist Church, 341 Whitehall Road, Whiteville, N.C. 2847.
